Breeders' Cup 'Aftermath'
* any additional information is welcome, either via comment or e-mail ... between work and classes / schoolwork, my time is fairly limited, so I will probably miss a lot of announcement that are buried in the last paragraph of an article I choose not to read
** credit goes to Verizon Wireless mobile internet and Google Reader - the majority of this is gathered while standing at the bus stop/on my way home/between classes ... a fantastic boredom eliminator (to be honest, I've gotten so that I prefer using my cell phone whenever possible, strange as that sounds)

I certainly wish all of these magnificent horses the best. My two favorites in the group are OCTAVE and HONEY RIDER. All of them have thrilled us with their swift beauty and great hearts. God grant that they live out their days in well earned peace and dignity...and, please Lord, as they age, don't let them become devalued and "disappear," ending their days, in a slaughter pen.
