Looking Back: 2006 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Retirees

With retirement season under way, I thought it would be interesting to see how last year's juvenile class has managed to fare thus far. I'm working on a comprehensive update of sorts on all of last year's starters - that should be up by the weekend. Hmm... is anyone able to tell that I'm avoiding actually taking the time to write something meaningful? I've been rather busy with school lately, so haven't had the time / wouldn't be able to do a "real" post justice.

Retired
Scat Daddy
Stormello
Street Sense
Teuflesberg

???
Malt Magic
Pegasus Wind (selling at Keeneland November as a "racing/stallion prospect, hip no. 4556)

All of the others I've seen recent workouts / races for. Overall, I wouldn't say this is horrible - of fourteen entries, slightly more than half are still in training (or haven't had announcements made yet). If anyone has any information on Malt Magic, I'd appreciate it - I haven't seen his name in ages.

While Pegasus Wind hasn't been glimpsed since late January, he is listed as a racing prospect, so it's possible that his new owners will choose to put him back in training. I liked him a lot late last year, so I'm hoping that this will be the case.
